My name is Santi. I began in the radio on citizen band when I was 10 years old. I study enginering of computer science in "La Salle - Ramon Llull" university.In 1992 I pass the exam for class B operator amateur radio in Barcelona Spain. But since 2011 I'm not in the radio. In this year I requested a operator licence and I started the actual practice of this hobby.
Since August of 2011 I'm member of URVO (http://go.to/URVO), the union of amateur radio operators of valles oriental, that is a delegation of URE (http://www.ure.es), the union of amateur radio operators of Spain.
I'm impressed and fascinated with software defined radio SDR, digital modes comunications, and other improvements to tradiditional radio such advanced microphonics and others.
